Contest Time again!

May 28, 2008

My spiffy new blog has so many new features. One of the features allows you to sign up for updates to my blog. Subscribing to the blog is the best way for you to find out about specials, sales and new offerings we have.

So I’m having a subscription contest. What do you need to do? Subscribe to the blog, that’s it! Look over to the left and you should see the box to add your email and subscribe!

What am I giving away? I will pick at random one person out of the first 10 to subscribe to win a FREE SESSION! The free session needs to take place before 7/31/08. Not one of the first 10, don’t worry…..if you are one of the first 25 subscribers you’ll have the chance to win a $25 gift card to either children’s place, gap, old navy, gymboree or janie and jack (your choice). And finally if you the lucky one chosen out of the first 50 to subscribe, you’ll have the chance to win a $10 iTunes gift card.

So sign up NOW! The contest will end June 6th. Winners will be picked at random after that!

Mr. C ……….

May 15, 2008

I’ve known Mr. C’s mom my entire life, no joke. We were neighbors growing up. Our mom’s were pregnant at the same time. Mariah was born 3 days before me. And boy did she hold that over me for awhile. For example, she turned 16 first, 18 first, 19 first, then 21 first. But now I get to enjoy that she turned 3o first, LOL!

Anyways, Mariah and I have much in common (beside late October b-days). We are both the oldest, we have the same wedding anniversary (though mine was like 7 years before hers, lol), we both love Jimmy Buffett, we’re both teachers, we’re both the oldest sibling, and finally we are both moms. Mr. C brought one more common connection to us.

I’ve said before that I’ve had the perfect newborn, but C really was content to let me do anything. The only problem was this was a newborn session unlike ANY other! First my mom and Madeline were there, grandma was there, there were not 1, not 2 but 4 yorkies running around. I’ve never shot a session in front of such a crowd, LOL! Add into that the RAIN. It was dark and rainy but we did our best.

Despite the hoopla and circus that was going on, I did manage to get some sweet images of Mr. C. Mariah welcome to motherhood. As any mom will tell you, it’s one of the most amazing journeys you will ever take!
